Support Those In Need
During this difficult time, many have asked how we can help out our sisters, brothers, and siblings in Christ. We have decided to give directly to help our sister church, San Francisco de Asis, by collecting donations for Fr. Jose de Jesus Sanchez's Discretionary Fund.
Fr. Jose is assisting families in his parish with groceries, utility bills, and rent. The need right now is higher than ever as many of his congregation are without work. Moreover, many families are not able to apply for other community assistance because of their immigration status.
Please give generously as we reach out in love and support of our neighbors in South Austin. All donations are entirely tax deductible.

And they came, everyone whose heart was stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and brought the Lord’s offering to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the sacred vestments. Exodus 35:21
Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. “So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today. Matthew 6:31-34
In the Old Testament, the Israelites were commanded to give a tenth of all they had back to God by supporting worship in the Temple and caring for the widow, the poor, and the orphan among them. In the New Testament, Jesus, the disciples, and the apostles all assume this practice of giving a tithe, which simply means “a tenth,” or 10% of your money. Moreover, Jesus reminds us that what we have comes from God and it is our privilege to offer it back to God.
Whether you can give a full tithe or a smaller percentage of your money to support the ministry of Church of the Incarnation, we are grateful for your gift.
Your generosity allows this ministry to exist, and when you pair your giving with faithful participation in the life of our church, Incarnation is able to continue its mission of creating a deeply rooted spiritual community in South Austin. Thank you for your generosity.
